Over the last year, I finally took the time to really learn how to knit. For years, I had a small collection of yarn and a half completed scarf among my belongings. Add that to the bin full of yarn my fiancé inherited from his grandmother, and it seems weird that no one in the house knits. I started with some easy stuff, cowls and simple slippers. Then I decided to learn continental style and once I felt confident with that, I learned flicking. The switch between techniques felt odd at first, but now I can knit fairly quickly with both hands!
So, with that, I give you the first sweater I have ever knit. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to knit many more!
